Excellent location, luxurious rooms with extra comfortable large beds, much better than in photographs! Every detail is carefully prepared for enjoyable stay in Rome! Great food and free soft drinks during the hole day. Hospitality of hotel stuff, and owner himself was great!

Situation, quite close to the city center. Cleanliness.
This is not an hotel, just an upgraded pension (I wouldn't call that "resort"...). Appart from that, during certain days or hours the "multicultural" neighbourhood could be unpleasant. Not very comfortable bed . If I were you, I would move to other hotel.

The staff were friendly, and helpful. Our room had a fairly private balcony which was in the sun for a few hours every day. The view was only of other apartment buildings but it was a quiet location. You could help yourself to bottles of water from the fridge and to tea and coffee without charge.
The room was a little small and the bathroom was tiny, and not very practical. The bed was uncomfortable. The location wasn't central and there wasn't much nearby, although the tram stop was nearby. The 'resort' is neither a resort nor a hotel, and is actually a few bedrooms in an apartment building. The breakfast was adequate for us, but other than coffee and pastries, the choice consisted of some dubious plates of ham which were left out uncovered in a warm reception room for the entire morning...and were then put in the fridge and put out again the next morning.

The balcony off our room was a wonderful surprise. It is set up more like a home with many comforts. The hotel is in a quiet area, steps away from the bustle of the Trastevere neighborhood.
The neighborhood is more secluded and is darker later at night.

This nice small hotel is located near to the centre of Rome at walking distance from lots of bars and restaurants in Trastevere. With tram 8 (2 minute walk from the hotel) you can go to the old centre of Rome and visit all touristic sightseeing by foot. Roberto (owner of the place) is very hospite and will tell you everything you would like to know. You can ask him practical things about public transport for example as well as historical facts about the city. Do not forget to ask for his cappuchino!

I really enojed our stay in Caligola, the breakfast was great! Ik also liked the owner Robeerto, he was helpfull and funny. The location was SUPER, Trastevere is very nice to come back to if you had a full day of sightseeying. It's a bit less crowded and there are fine restaurants!

I stayed 3 mights and I really enjoyed Caligola Resort. Roberto is really nice and helpful. Rooms are big and clean and we even had a balcony ! The breakfast is perfect ! Moreover, we can enjoy anytime of a day tea, coffee and some sweets, which is really nice! The location is perfect to visit Roma (5 min by tram) and in Traverstere you will find a lot of Italian restaurants for dinning ! I would definitely recommend this place !

conveniently located to a Tram 8 stop and that the WIFI actually worked in my room and my computer actually fully charged quickly. The manager took great pride in his facility, was very accommodating, helpful and friendly. I did like that the building was accessible by key so it seemed safe.
the heavy smoking in the lobby/breakfast area. Since I'm not a smoker it bothered me. I'm not sure why it's labeled as a resort. It's a small area within an office/residential building up a flight of stairs.

The space of the room was very good. The host has a nice livingroom where you can take everithing from the refrigerator (juice, milk, ) Our host was very friendly and help us with all of our questions.
The room wasn´t cleaned every day just changed the towels and make the bed but a little more cleaning would be fine.

The rooms were quiet, clean, and well furnished and equipped, There was an excellent wireless connection in the room. The manager was very helpful and spoke good English which was useful. The breakfast buffet was always fresh and well presented. The location was highly convenient to tourist areas.
Asmall kettle for making tea in the bedroom would have made it perfect.

The location is ideal, you are 5min. away from the city center via tram, (the tram stop is just 100 meters away from the hotel). Also, even-though it's in Trastevere, it's on a side street with no noise whatsoever and a free parking spot is always there (i left my motorcycle there for 3 full days without any problem or fear of theft). Finally, Roberto is an excellent host, helpful and funny as they 'll ever be. I was totally impressed. He even has an open bar (or should i say fridge?) where you can drink whatever you want whenever you want (as long as it is juice, water or beverage).
It needs some repairs - changes, mostly on the doors (they all had a trick for opening - closing - locking) and also our a/c unit was constantly dripping water when it was opened. The good thing was that the water went on the carpet and not on our bed or stuff. But beware of it... Overall, i would stay there again without a second thought.
